The quartz finish is created by blending quartz grains in various colors as in the color samples below.  These grains are broadcast until they saturate a polymer primer coat.  The excess grains are removed, the broadcast process is repeated, and a clear coat is added forming a surface that is non-slip, easy to clean, chemical resistant, and extremely durable.  Surface preparation is usually done by shot blasting and/or diamond grinding the existing concrete.

We often install the quartz system in restaurant kitchens, but it is equally at home in residential applications such as basements, patios and walkways.  Quartz can be installed indoors or out.
