The granite flake finish is created by blending colored vinyl paint chips as in the color samples below.  These chips are broadcast until they saturate a polymer primer coat.  The excess chips are removed, and a clear coat is added forming a surface that is non-slip, easy to clean, chemical resistant, and very durable.  Surface preparation is usually done by shot blasting and/or diamond grinding the existing concrete.  

The photos above illustrate how versatile this finish is.  No other flooring could be at home in such a wide variety of applications.  This finish can also be used outdoors.
